Class of 1952 Scholarship

“The Class of 1952 Scholarship has been a wonderful help in allowing me to attend the University of Maine. Since I am working to pay many of my expenses for college it has been very nice to have the boost of a scholarship to help me pay my tuition. The scholarship has meant so much to me because it represents the support of others from the past who treasure the value of furthering educational opportunities.”

Kristin is a sophomore majoring in Communication. She grew up in Old Town, Maine and graduated from Old Town High School.

The Class of 1952 Scholarship was established in 1982 with a gift from the Class of 1952 in commemoration of its 30th reunion. The scholarship is awarded to a worthy student who is working towards a degree, either on a full-time or part-time basis.
