G. Peirce Webber Maine Business School Webber Scholarship

“The G. Peirce Webber Business School Scholarship has provided the supplemental assistance that will aid me in continuing my educational goals. I am grateful to the University of Maine Foundation donors for giving me this opportunity to further pursue my studies in Business Management.”

Juan Iturriaga was looking to relocate his family to New England to a University that had a great NROTC program available. Maine was the one. Juan graduated from Lake Howell High School in Florida. He is presently a junior majoring in Business Administration.

The G. Peirce Webber Maine Business School Fund was established in 1998 with a gift from the late G. Peirce Webber, a Bangor, Maine civic leader and philanthropist. He established the fund to provide financial support to the Maine Business School. When the fund is used for scholarships, the recipients are known as Webber Scholars.
