Thank You For Supporting The Maine Center for Sport and Coaching Endowment Fund
The Maine Center for Sport and Coaching Endowment Fund was established in the University of Maine Foundation in 2005 with gifts from individuals and businesses dedicated to implementing the Sports Done Right initiative. The purpose of the fund is to support the research, teaching and public service mission of the Maine Center for Sport and Coaching, a division of the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Maine.
Photo by The Times Record The Center serves as a national leader in examining and defining healthy interscholastic sports and presenting recommendations to shape the best possible environment for student-athletes. Gifts to the MCSC Fund will help the Center promote the core principles identified by the Select Panel in the Sports Done Right report: Philosophy, Values and Sportsmanship, Sports and Learning, Parents and Community, Quality of Coaching, Opportunity to Play, Health and Fitness, and Leadership, Policy and Organization.
