Carol A. Radgowski Memorial ScholarshipThe Carol A. Radgowski Memorial Scholarship was established in 2006 by the family of Carol A. Radgowski in her memory. It is a wonderful example of how a family can demonstrate their love and respect for a lost fam Carol's family created this scholarship because education was very important to her. She always stressed the importance of learning, whether in school, on the job, or socializing with friends and family. Her philosophy was that doing well at school would provide a person with the opportunity to do what she (or he) loved. Carol Radgowski was born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts. After completing high school, she studied to become and X-Ray technician at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She worked in this field for a number of years. Later she worked in retail sales. Throughout her life, she continued to learn through reading, courses, and life experiences. According to her children, Edward W. Radgowski, Jr., a member of the Class of 1989, Todd J. Radgowski, a member of the Class of 1995, Jeffrey L. Radgowski and Wendy M. Radgowski:
If you, you and your family and/or you and some close friends are contemplating ways to memorialize a lost relative or close friend, please give some consideration to doing what the Radgowskis did for their mother. Please contact the Planned Giving Staff at the Foundation to learn how. |
